• Hello from Hong Kong

    Hi everyone, so I'm writing to you from my hotel room in Hong Kong this week. Next to me is a mini-bar which I can successfully say I have not touched! Sure, I've looked at those mini Mars Bars and Pringles but have definitely not touched them!!

  • Post-it notes … even if it is a little bit silly.

    As I sat down to write this blog this morning, I passed various neon Post-it notes that I have placed around my apartment. They say things like, “You love exercise!”, “Make good choices today!” and “You can do this!” It’s the latest little tip that I’m trying after speaking to my JC consultant. Surprisingly it’s worked…even if it is a little bit silly.

  • Happy New Year

    Well I’m so glad 2012 has come around! The end of 2011 got mega crazy – I filmed five movies in a row  and although I’m really proud of the weight loss I have achieved and maintained with Jenny Craig, the fact that it’s the start of a new year has energized me and I’m really hopeful that I’ll see some good results in the next few months!

  • I might have plateaued but I am focused

    Okay, so I guess it’s probably fair to say that I’ve plateaued for the past few weeks. Luckily haven’t gained any weight because I’ve been eating all my Jenny food but haven’t been in any kind of routine or been able to do regular exercise, so haven’t seen any results.

  • I lost half a kilo this week and I worked for every bit of it

    It’s great that Jenny Craig is EVERYWHERE because even though I’m away from home, the Jenny food still got delivered to me as per usual. I made sure to stay in a serviced apartment this time that has a kitchen, so that I can prepare all my meals.

  • 10 kilos in 10 weeks

    So I’ve made my next big milestone – ten kilos dropped in ten weeks! I’ve been doing photo-shoots and interviews all weekend..and when I occasionally got to glance at some of the images I thought, “Wow, I am beginning to look different!"

  • My journey this week

    I like to go hiking a lot because it gets me out of the house - I have my Ipod with me and just listen to podcasts or music, so 90 minutes can go by pretty fast that way. Sometimes I’ll get a friend to come with me and we catch up whilst walking and then the time really flies!

    I have taken onboard the whole “body” thing with Jenny Craig. I’ve been going to the gym three times a week – which I think is a huge part of why my chin has downsized and my jeans are feeling very loose.

    So far I’ve lost 4 kilos and it seems to have gone pretty quickly. I’ve been so busy working these past few weeks that I haven’t had time to think about it really – all I do is at meal times, head to the fridge/freezer/cupboard and there’s all the Jenny Craig food sitting there ready to rock.
