Our Program

Our Program is based on what our founder, Jenny Craig, called SkillPowerTM, a personalised approach to healthy weight loss and long-term weight maintenance. SkillPowerTM is a lifestyle change through which we address the three key areas critical to effective weight loss and maintenance: Food, Body and Mind. All the key elements are designed to provide skills and strategies to change old behaviors and replace them with new, constructive ones.

Our Program is designed and developed by our own team of Accredited Practising Dietitians with the input and approval of the International Medical Advisory Board, whose recommendations reflect the latest nutrition, weight management and disease prevention research (click here to find out more).

Losing weight

We equip you with the skills and knowledge to lose weight at a sustainable and healthy rate of ½ to 1kg or 1% of your body weight per week (less for adolescents and breastfeeding women), as well as providing you with ongoing support and motivation.

Food - Eat Healhty

We provide a kilojoule controlled healthy eating plan that has been devised by our team of Accredited Practising Dietitians. The plan incorporates nutritious ready to eat meals with your own fresh fruits and vegetables, grains and low fat dairy products. This helps to build healthy eating habits and learn portion control.

Body - Get Active

No matter what your current level of physical activity is, we create an activity plan to suit your lifestyle and assist you with your weight loss goal. We aim to achieve at least 30 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity on most days of the week.

Mind - Stay Motivated

Every Jenny Craig client has a weekly one-on-one consultation with a trained Consultant who provides continuous motivation, support and encouragement throughout your weight loss journey. In your weekly consultations you will celebrate your achievements, work through your challenges, and build on your success.

Keeping it off

On reaching goal weight you have the option to commence our Maintenance Program designed to gradually transition you from our Weight Loss Program to your own foods as well as equipping you with the skills to maintain your weight for life.

Food - Eat Healhty

We establish a new kilojoule level to enable you to maintain your weight long term. You will continue with a balanced healthy eating plan consisting of your own foods, continuing to make healthy food choices using all of the skills and strategies you have learned in the weight loss phase.

Body - Get Active

The active lifestyle you established during the weight loss phase is continued. An increase in your physical activity level as well as variation in the types of activities is encouraged.

Mind - Stay Motivated

Your relationship with your personal Consultant continues throughout your Maintenance Program through monthly one-on-one consultations where strategies to maintain your weight and overcome upcoming challenge are discussed.
