How Does Jenny Work?
1. Getting Started

It's so easy to get started on Jenny Craig. With one phone call, you can be on your way to a happier, healthier you!
The first step on your Jenny Craig Program is to meet with your Program Director (either in-person at your Nearest Centre, or over the phone with Jenny Direct). We start by discussing your personal eating style, physical activity and your weight loss mindset. Then we'll offer a program that will be most effective for you. We'll also take an initial weight and take your measurements.
Introducing Your New, Healthier Lifestyle
Delicious gourmet quality Jenny Craig meals and snacks are the perfect introduction to your new healthier lifestyle. You'll enjoy three Jenny Craig meals and one snack every day, with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. Your Jenny Craig Cuisine is a model for balance, variety and moderation, and it's an essential part of your menu while on the Jenny Craig Program. From the first day, your menu will feature a healthy balance between Jenny Craig Cuisine and your own grocery foods - like fruit, vegetables, low fat dairy, whole grains and heart-healthy fats. Moderate physical activity is an important element of healthy living and weight management and your personal Consultant will help you develop an active lifestyle you can enjoy and maintain.
One-on-one Support to Keep You on Track
Your Consultant will meet with you privately each week to help motivate you, share your results, help you with any challenges and offer you the skills, strategies and information you need to achieve and maintain your weight loss goals.
2. Halfway There

Transitioning to "Days on Your Own"
Halfway to your goal weight, you'll transition to more foods "on your own", continue to build an active lifestyle and refuel your motivation for the home stretch.
An important part of your Halfway Program is learning the skills necessary to plan and prepare meals on your own. You will have time to practice menu planning first, to ensure that you are very comfortable before trying it on your own. Then you'll start to include meals using your own foods one or two days per week. If you'd like to eat out with family or friends, we'll provide helpful tips as well as our Dining Out Guide so you can make healthy choices. Be assured that you will have the skills and information needed to support your consistent weight loss.
Getting Used to a New You
As you lose weight, your body gets smaller, as do your kilojoule needs. Your Consultant will be there to help you learn new ways to turn up your physical activity with intervals or cross-training, and add a strength component to fuel your kilojoule burn.
Ongoing Support and Motivation
Midway into your Program, it is perfectly normal for you to experience a mix of emotions. The negative emotions are challenges to resolve. The positive emotions are strengths to celebrate. Your Consultant is there for you, to share motivational strategies to help you work past any hurdles that might arise during your Halfway process. The time between now and your goal is a critical point in your weight management journey – a time to delve deeper into your consultations and discover what works best for you.
3. At Goal Weight

Transitioning to Maintenance and Beyond!
Depending on the membership you've selected, you'll be able to transition into Maintenance support. And of course, you'll still have access to online support tools to help keep you on track.
