The Jenny Craig Program is designed and developed by our own team of Accredited Practising Dietitians with the input and approval of its International Medical Advisory Board, whose recommendations reflect the latest nutrition, weight management and disease prevention research.

The group is made up of leading world authorities on health, nutrition, physical activity and weight management.

 

 

Karen Inge, APD
Institute of Health and Fitness
Karen Inge is Director of the Institute of Health and Fitness in Melbourne, Australia. She is an Accredited Practising Dietitian well known as a media commentator and nutrition writer for the Australian Women's Weekly. Karen also provides specialist nutrition consultancy services to the sporting, food and industry bodies. Among her appointments, Karen is Senior Sport Nutrition Advisor at the Victorian Institute of Sport and a Board member of the Coeliac Research Fund.

 

 

 

 

 

 

George Santoro, AO, MBBS, FAMA
Dr. Santoro is a Director of Melbourne Division of General Practice, and Member of Council for the Order of Australia. He is a Past Member Faculty of Medicine University of Melbourne, Past President of both Australian Medical Association (Victoria), and the Medical Benevolent Association of Victoria.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bill Mackey, MB ChB
Dr Mackey is a New Zealand and Australian registered medical practitioner who has specialised in family practice and sports medicine. Currently he is CEO of a New Zealand medical and diagnostic distribution company.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Steven N. Blair, PED
University of South Carolina

As professor at the Arnold School of Public Health, Dr. Blair's research focuses on the associations between lifestyle and health, with a specific emphasis on exercise, physical fitness, body composition,and chronic disease.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Tim Church, MD, MPH, PhD
Pennington Biomedical Research Centre

Dr. Church's area of research expertise includes prevertive medicine, obesity and exercise as it relates to weight and health issues such as the treatment of heart disease, diabetes, quality of life and healthy aging. Dr. Church is the director of the Laboratory of Preventive Medicine at Pennington in Baton Rough, Louisiana.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Frank Greenway, MD
Pennington Biomedical Research Centre

Dr. Greenway's area of research is in the treatment of obesity with an emphasis on pharmacological and nutriceutical interventions. He is Professor and Medical Director of the Pennington outpatient research clinic in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Delia Smith West, PhD
University of Arkansas

Dr. Smith West's expertise is health behavioral strategies for obesity prevention and treatment, and behavioral intervention to address hypertension, diabetes and cardiovascular risk. She is the Director of the Center for the Study of Obesity at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Fay W. Boozman College of Public Health.

 

 

 

 

Arne Astrup, MD
University of Copenhagen

Dr. Astrup is an expert on physiology and pathophysiology of energy and substrate metabolism, with a special emphasis on the etiology and treatment of obesity. Dr. Astrup is the Head of the Department of Human Nutrition at the Faculty of Life Sciences at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.
