How have you found the journey with Jenny Craig?
When I had my daughter, she became the priority and I forgot about myself. Jenny Craig made sure I was put first. My husband Jason and I followed the same menu, so we’d line up our menus to have the same dish together. We were also able to regularly take our daughter and dog for a walk along the water a couple of times a week which is great family time.
As a new mum, I was struggling with keeping on top of cooking and making sure my daughter was looked after. So, we would often resort to take away 3-4 times per week.
Jenny Craig made sure I was having healthy meals multiple times a day and made sure I was really taking care of myself as well as my family.
The food is so convenient. We’re able to help each other out by doing each other’s meals and having more family time. Jason prepares me dinner quite often, it’s so easy, it makes life a lot simpler and meant we had more time to look after our newborn daughter.
How have you found the support from your Jenny Craig coach?
We love seeing our coach each week and getting advice, she understands the day to day challenges. She helps you keep on track, she’s great with advice and it makes you feel like somebody’s helping you, rather than you doing it for everyone else.
Louise made sure I had my meal plan set out and that I understood it and that everything was ready each day to just heat up and eat. It was so helpful having my meals planned out for me and knowing what I was going to eat that day.
What would you say to those thinking about starting Jenny Craig?
I would recommend Jenny Craig any new Mum. It’s so easy. It makes you feel like somebody’s looking after you. It helps them have your day planned out and it frees up time for you to spend with your family. I did Jenny Craig because of how simple it is, I lost weight without trying too hard. I stuck to the program and lost weight every single week.
