Tell us a bit about you and what life was like before you joined Jenny Craig?

Before joining Jenny Craig, I was overweight and uncomfortable. I never looked after myself properly; food was my comfort, and as a taxi driver I was always eating. I never exercised at all before Jenny Craig. I suffered from high blood pressure and had been diagnosed with sleep apnoea because of my weight. The high blood pressure and sleep apnoea diagnosis were a real wake up call for me. I was very overweight and needed help to lose it.


Can you describe your experience on the Jenny Craig program?

I have had an amazing experience with the Jenny Craig program. I loved going in every week for my weigh in; it was so exciting to see how much weight I lost each week. I would recommend Jenny Craig to anyone, it’s not hard at all – just follow the program and you’ll see results like I did.


Do you have any favourite items from the Jenny Craig menu?

I can’t pick just one favorite food – everything tasted so good.


Tell us more about your Jenny Craig Consultant:

My consultant, Taylor, was amazing; she is such a lovely young lady. She listened to everything I asked, and always told the truth. She encourages me every visit by telling me I am doing a wonderful job.


How do you feel now that you’ve lost the weight?

OMG what can I say! I feel 100% better after losing the weight. Losing over 40kg in total has been amazing. I went from no exercise to now doing a 15km walk every day. I have dropped from a 7XL to XL size shirt, and a 44 to 34 in trousers. I have also stopped needing my sleep apnoea machine, which I am over the moon about. I wish I had done this years ago! I feel so much healthier and better about myself.


Do you have a standout moment on the Jenny Craig program you’d like to share?

I don’t have one single moment, but I have many small moments. Seeing how much weight I lost and noticing the changes in my clothing and how I feel from one week to the next have been standout moments in and of themselves.
