Has weight always been an issue for you?
Yeah, definitely. For the last 25 years I’ve been struggling, I’ve tried so many weight loss programs but I would hit goal and then I would pile it back on again. It was hard work, but with Jenny Craig I’ve got my Coach who I go and see every week. She keeps me on track. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.
What’s the food on Jenny Craig like?
The food on Jenny Craig is awesome. If there’s something you don’t quite like you can choose something different which is great. The portion sizes are spot on. You just add some vegetables or salad with it and it’s fulfilling. I never go hungry on Jenny Craig.
Do you think you needed the accountability of the Coach?
I definitely did. If I had any issues or if I had a bad week my Coach would give me that confidence to just keep on going and that really helped. She taught me a lot, especially portion sizes because I was a big eater, very big eater. Now I can go to a coffee shop and just have a coffee and don’t have to buy extra food. Jenny Craig has retrained my brain and that’s exactly what I wanted to do so I’m just going to keep on going. I’ve lost 39 kilos and I’ve maintained it over the last 6 months, which is awesome.
How did Jenny Craig work for you?
Jenny Craig worked for me as far as portion sizes go and how to eat properly, instead of eating four things I’ll only have one. It’s taught me how to live healthily and look for healthy options.
