Spice Up Your Frozen Sides

Frozen veggies are a convenient and cost effective way to get your vegetable serves in whilst following the Jenny Craig menu. Frozen veggies can also have higher levels of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals than standard supermarket veggies as they are snap frozen when picked and as such retain more of their nutrients. While we understand convenience is important when following the Jenny Craig menu, the last thing we want is for you to get bored with your veggie routine. So we have developed some quick and easy flavour combos that you can add to your microwaved veggie bags to help boost their flavour and keep you eating rainbows! Simply make up the spice mix or marinade and add as much as you like to your cooked veg. (These flavours taste great no matter what cooking method you choose!)

  1. Stir all ingredients together in a small bowl.
  2. Sprinkle spice mixture over your cooked /microwaved veggies and mix well to combine.
  3. Store the remaining spice mix in a jar for future use. Enjoy!
  4. Note: You can also add this blend to veggies before they’re roasted in the oven, or if you’re pan frying veggies.
